Business German
Summer school students also have the option of taking a basic or intermediate business German class that is offered at an additional cost: 1 student at 180 Euros, 2 students at 90 Euros, and 3 students at 60 Euros. This class will prepare you for a four-week internship in a European company. The basic Business German course focuses on developing skills in small talk, managing appointments, and handling the telephone. The intermediate course additionally focuses on writing business letters.
Internships will be held in August. Those wishing to participate should register by the end of April if possible, as internship positions are limited.
European companies generally do not offer salaries nor provide room and board for internships. This means that you will need to take into consideration that there will be additional costs. However, we are doing our best to keep the costs for travelling and living expenses during the internship as low as possible. For further information see Summer Classes.
